Chevrolet Camaro – Reviewing the Different Trims

Camaros have strong engines that make them fun to drive around. The 2019 car model was completely redesigned to be better than the previous ones, and the 2022 model offers some exciting surprises!

Choosing a Camaro trim

With a wide range of car engine options to pick from, it can be challenging to decide which one is best for you. In this article, we’re breaking down every trim. Though every one of these options is available as a convertible or coupe, we’re only listing the pricing of the coupe.

1LS

The 2022 Camaro 1LS is the base trim, priced at $25,000. This Chevy car is equipped with a 2.0-Liter Turbo SIDI engine with a horsepower of 275 and 295 pound-foot of torque. Those looking for more power can pay more to purchase the 3.6-liter V6 DI engine with 284 lb-ft of torque and 335 horsepower. Purchasing the Camaro also includes two years of scheduled maintenance for your vehicle.

The base trim has a six-speaker entertainment system, including a SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Like most Chevys, the Camaro comes with Chevrolet MyLink, a seven-inch color touch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth streaming. The 1LS trim has voice-activated technology so that you can stay focused on driving.

1LT

The Camaro 1LT trim is priced at $25,500 for the coupe. It has one significant improvement from the 1LS trim; a better transmission. The 1LT has an eight-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission that offers drivers control with quick and precise shifts. The transmission has a remote start, which is beneficial on cold days. Other than these improvements, there are no significant differences between the 1LS and the 1LT.

2LT

The 2LT is similar to the 1LS as it has the same engine. Yet the 2LT retains the standard manual transmission of the 1LS. The 2LT is designed for drivers that enjoy a quality entertainment system in their vehicle. Instead of the traditional six-speaker system, the 2LT has a Bose nine-system sound system. The 2LT trim boosted its upgrade by including a rearview auto-dimming mirror, dual-zone automatic climate control, and heated seats. The 2022 Chevy Camaro 2LT starts at $27,500.

3LT

The Chevy Camaro 3LT trim is priced at $31,500. The trim features an 8-inch HD color touchscreen with a Chevrolet Infotainment system and navigation. The 3LT interior also contains an audio system with 9 Bose speakers and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors are also included.
