The Hyundai Palisade has quickly become popular among SUV enthusiasts. Its spacious interior, advanced safety features, and stylish design offer a compelling package for families and adventure-seekers. However, with multiple trims available, choosing a suitable Palisade model can be confusing. In this blog, we will compare the different Hyundai Palisade trims.
2023 Hyundai Palisade SE
The 2023 Hyundai Palisade SE trim, starting at around $37,000, offers a no-frills approach with a few notable features. It boasts 18-inch wheels and full LED headlights, while the acoustically laminated windshield reduces noise for a more comfortable ride.
Inside, the eight-passenger seating arrangement is covered in cloth upholstery. Although the seats lack power adjustment, the second-row seats can be easily folded using electric release levers in the cargo area. All three rows have air vents, a 4.2-inch information display in the gauge cluster, and USB ports in the first and second rows.
2023 Hyundai Palisade SEL
Priced at approximately $40,000, the 2023 Hyundai Palisade SEL brings a range of upgrades. The taillights and exterior door handles now feature LED illumination, while roof rails and a hands-free power liftgate enhance the Palisade’s cargo capabilities.
The steering wheel is now leather-wrapped, and the seats are upholstered with leatherette. The option for either seven- or eight-passenger seating is available. Comfort is further enhanced with heated and power-adjustable front seats and two-zone automatic climate control to maintain optimal temperatures for rear passengers. The inclusion of front-door laminated window glass creates a quieter cabin environment.
The Palisade SEL offers a Premium package for $4,950 for those seeking additional features. This package adds various enhancements, such as 20-inch wheels, a sunroof, and water and noise-repellent treatments for the windows.
2023 Hyundai Palisade XRT
The 2023 Hyundai Palisade XRT is a new addition to the lineup, priced slightly over $42,000. Positioned as the off-road-inspired version of the Palisade, it focuses on styling changes rather than trail-oriented hardware.
The XRT has a blacked-out theme, with dark hues applied to the grille, roof rails, and lower door trim. It rides on black 20-inch wheels exclusive to this trim. Standard features include a seven-seat layout and black leatherette upholstery.
Notably, the XRT is the first Palisade model to include a sunroof as a standard feature, while it remains optional on the SEL trim.
