A Ford Mustang is a classic American muscle car. With so many varieties to choose from, there is a Mustang for nearly everyone! The best part is that every version of this car is a pleasure to drive. It’s also extremely powerful. Even the standard turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder offers enough punch to put older V-8 Mustangs to shame. The interior of the all-new Mustang is better than ever, thanks to its evolutionary design that manages to keep things functional and fun. If you are considering buying the Mustang, read this article, so you know what to expect.

Engine options
All Mustangs are rear-wheel drive. To meet emissions regulations, the latest Mustang lost ten horsepower and ten lb-ft of torque. The six-speed manual transmission and 10-speed automatic are offered in all models except the GT500. The GT500 has a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Safety
Ford’s latest-generation Mustang offers a host of driver-assist and active-safety features. These include automatic front braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high beams, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. Adaptive cruise control is also available. The GT500 lacks most of these features; only blind-spot monitoring is available.
Cargo and interiors
The Mustang coupe has a cargo capacity of 13.5 cubic feet, which increases to 27.3 cubic feet when the split-folding second-row seats are flipped down into the cabin. Folding top hardware reduces cargo space in the Mustang convertible to 11.4 cubic feet. The Mustang has 37.6 inches of headroom and 45.1 inches of legroom for its front-row passengers. The car’s rear seats are tight, offering just 34.8 inches of headroom and 29.0 inches of legroom.
Tech
The 4.2-inch infotainment screen on the base EcoBoost and GT models of the Mustang is relatively small, but an 8.0-inch touchscreen is available on Premium-trim models, the Mach 1, and the GT500. Built-in navigation is an available add-on, and Ford’s Sync 3 user interface, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, operates on that bigger screen. There are two USB ports on every Mustang model. The Mach 1 and GT500 come standard with a 12.0-inch digital gauge cluster display, while it’s optional on Premium trim models. Six speakers make up the base audio system, whereas Premium trim models feature a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium optional system or a nine-speaker standard system.
Stealth Edition package
The Stealth Edition, offered on the Mustang EcoBoost Premium, adds black exterior accents, including black badges, a rear wing, mirror caps, and 19-inch aluminum wheels. However, the exterior paint color need not be black. Other paint options include Atlas Blue, Carbonized Gray, Dark Matter, and Shadow Black. If you look inside the cabin, you’ll see an illuminated sill plate and a matte and gloss black badge on the instrument panel.
